fun fact: more people regret rotator cuff surgery than regret gender affirming surgery
as my followers are aware I got fired (for being AuDHD) which means I'm now uninsured and I had to spend $180 to talk to my psych yesterday to get my $130 meds and the advice was take as little as possible for affordability (even tho I'm like useless w/o them)

We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.
If gender were the immutable biological reality they claim to believe it is, they wouldn't need to spend so much energy policing it like this.
I shouldnβt have watched this. No one needs to feel like smacking someone really really hard first thing in the morning.
Despair (1894), Edvard Munch: A person is standing looking down, they appear sad. They have brown hair, and are wearing a brown sweater. They are leaning on a fence and appear to be on a bridge walkway. There is a group of people in the distance. In the background is a sunset with orange, yellow, and blue colors that is set over dark blue water, with a green hillside lining the waterway. The text reads, βThe Sick Times. Medical facilities have handled Long COVID the same way they have the ongoing pandemic: ignore it and hope it goes away. - My child and I both have Long COVID. Even in COVID-aware spaces, we are excluded because of their pre-existing disability.
eZme Fern and their ten-year-old both have #LongCOVID, but theyβve discovered that even in COVID-aware spaces, they're excluded because of their childβs pre-existing disability. They argue that COVID-aware communities must provide safe spaces for generationally disabled families. bit.ly/4sAkobN

also tell them what it means, what about their brains pointed to that diagnosis, who else in their life is autistic (if you don't know any yet, 1. yes you do, and 2. get safe enough they'll tell you), which tv characters they love are autistic, what you love about them that is related to autism...
Maybe they relied on AI to pick targets. But they bombed the school twice, hitting it again 40 minutes after the initial strike, in order to kill survivors and first responders. The mere *existence* of AI means no one has to be held responsible for this crime against humanity
Cis people need to pay attention to the way they communicate this. They freely admit that after all of their research, they came up with zero evidence that HRT was harmful.
Then they banned it anyway, claiming their inability to find a reason is a reason in of itself.

If you've been following the journey of me getting access to treatment, know that the fight is STILL happening.
On Monday, I spoke at City Council begging them for better oversight over the vendors related to the health plan.
Now I'm speaking with reporters.

I know people are very sensitive about the use of the word βgenocideβ but the attempts to medically eliminate trans children is very clearly meets the standard because they are trying to eliminate a population and also they know some of those kids are going to kill themselves
Has anyone done research on how many people have migraines during the weeks following time change?
Between the sleep deficit and weather changes that happen during the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers would be high AF.
It's normal to restrict or move away from treatments when evidence of harms starts to outweigh evidence of benefits.
It's not normal to restrict or move away from treatments when there is evidence of benefits and none of harms, even if the evidence of benefits is "low quality."

This led to denied vaccines, delays in accessing medications, and denied visit claims due to a mismatched gender marker.
If I had not been out to my HCPs, this would've outed me to the ones I saw for months and it's a major safety concern.
These vendors constantly put plan members at risk.
I will also share that this same insurance vendor, EBSC, changed my gender marker to F β I've never been on their insurance as female β without verifying with me if that was accurate.
I still have no answers about why this happened, but it took months to fully correct.
The whole situation is wildly unsettling, and I can't believe that it's been three years of constantly fighting with EBSC to try to access treatment β or just having to go around them, because they have no sense of urgency in helping their members.
As I've mentioned before, this is a failing by multiple pieces in the healthcare ecosystem.
EBSC and TrueScripts (and their vendors) have repeatedly stalled my ability to access treatment that keeps me mobile, safe, and alive.
Novartis failed me and others by butchering their assistance program.
