Weighed myself and took photos yesterday. Long story short, have lost over a stone and a half in one month. Haven’t eaten too healthily these past few days but determined to lose the same amount of weight again in feb 💪
I think that 7-0 was a reminder that #nffc are third on merit, now for the top four consolidation!

Nice bit in the Guardian about #nffc and the ‘title challenge’. To be honest the more it goes on, the more I play through the scenario of them winning the league…need to stop getting so excited 😆
At least the media seem more open to #nffc finishing in the top four and some even entertaining the slight possibility of a title challenge. For what it’s worth, I’m thinking 4th or 5th, expecting a stumble soon but think Forest will do enough to comfortably finish in the top 5.
Ok, win this and beat Liverpool and I may revise my opinion on #nffc winning the title… 😄
To be honest after the past few years, part of me is just glad we aren’t referred to as ‘struggling’ ourselves 😄
I’m not convinced #nffc are in the title race in any way, shape or form, but the collective blindness when it comes to who is currently in third place is very interesting!

First day of the new year, here we go… Weight - 128.8kg I’ve known I was hovering around this weight for a while now (which is just over 20 stone for those who hate kilograms!) - you simply can’t be that slack on diet and exercise without the consequences staring…
Yeah I think it is certainly the way to go, I also think for me a big help will be cut portion sizes and cut out dairy. I'm a teeny bit lactose intolerant but always powered on regardless!
Fresh Start
I may as well put some actual use into a blog I’ve resurrected but subsequently put to one side. It’s been an interesting year, on a personal level it’s been great - expecting twins in the early part of next year is both amazing and terrifying in equal measure! But the new arrivals…
Will make use of Bluesky and my old dormant blog to document it too, just to keep tabs on my progress more than anything else.
Decided to go all in for one major New Year Resolution...2025 must be the year I get back into shape. Had some not entirely unexpected news about high cholesterol and blood pressure so feels like a fairly major wake up call.
First win for #nffc at Goodison Park since 1999, a game that I was at! Vastly different circumstances between those two games though. Carlton Palmer’s tiny head couldn’t save us then, but Chris Wood may fire us to Europe now!

Just been given one of these as at work as a thank you, it’s all I can do to not break it open right now…
Interesting to see that the narrative for #nffc has changed from 'Forest are in a false position' to 'Europe-chasing Forest'. 16th December and I am still waiting for the bubble to burst, but secretly hoping it never does.
