1) Worked on Oldest Kid's car. The "simple fix" is not being "simple."
2) Watched "Princess Mononoke" with Youngest Kid. First time for both of us.
3) Youngest Kid applied to be a vendor at The Van Meter Visitor Festival, a local cryptid event happening this fall.

1) Youngest Kid had Individual Speech Districts today. Good scores. Fingers crossed for state.
2) Finally got Middle Kid and Roommate completely moved.
3) Spouse's Brother managed to tow Roommate's car to his shop to work on.

1) Took Youngest Kid to/from school. Ran some errands with them.
2) Stopped by Middle Kid's place, got a game console connected for them.
3) Oldest Kid got his car back from the shop.

1) Attended Mom's "Town Hall" meeting at her new apt. RE change in management. It didn't get too heated.
2) Got the talk-show segment of Sunday's Vagrant Fear Productions radio shows edited.
3) Middle Kid visited, had dinner with us.
Skipped SOTU to attend high school Individual speech parent night. Students spoke cogently on school shootings & phone prohibitions, increase in fans' unsportsmanlike behavior, cults, cybergoths, gender nonconformity, more. Refreshing to hear clear, concise, well-researched presentations.

2) Took Youngest Kid to Volunteen at local library. They got Silver Cord hours and I got to hang out at a library for a few hours.

1) Helped Middle Kid with some stuff, so we got to hang out a little bit.
2) Oldest Kid bought Northern Lights Pizza for dinner.
3) After wearing glasses since first grade, buddy of mine now just needs readers occasionally. Eye surgery literally changed how he sees the world.

1) Managed to get everyone, including myself, to a bunch of appointments.
2) Stopped at Tasty Tacos for lunch.
3) Recorded a couple movie reviews for @oneofus.bsky.social & got a chance to hang out with some reviewers I haven't seen in a while.
