Love to Vancouver.

After reaching out to all of them, I could breathe easier, knowing they were safe. All left way before the attack took place. But I grieve with the Vancouver Filipino community. I grieve with Vancouver. This was so senseless. So much loss and heartache.

I woke up on Sunday to the devastating news out of Vancouver. I love that city and my friends from there who have shown me nothing but kindness every time work sent me there.
Just like me, they are Filipino. So, when I heard about the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival attack, I was in panic.

So, this week's obsession is musk tahara. Powdery, clean, and slightly floral.

I have the sticky, creamy version and a clear perfume oil one that I forgot I even had.

There is something about it that just makes me feel super fresh!

I am sipping on this Sicilian Lemon drink at Caffé Nero and I have a feeling, next week's fragrance obsession will be heavily lemon-based. I have Chelsea Morning already. I also have a 4711 Lemon cologne from a friend...in Cologne.😅

Oooh I am just reading the notes for Rosario and I am super intrigued, especially cos of the incense. You also mentioned Delina, which I am not a fan of. Would you say both are the same vibe, ie tart, sharp and fruity? To me, Delina smells like vinegar.😒

The way that the owner of my fave Turkish café immediately caught the cinnamon note in my Sava (Gissan) perfume is incredible cos I can never smell the cinnamon. I always get the booze, vanilla and amber.

My Thé Noir sample is here and omg it is so juicy. Such a sparkly, juicy fig and bergamot fragrance. I am not getting any musk or tobacco but I am not complaining. I seem to get some rose but this is not listed as a note.

In any case, I feel this'll be a summer fave soon.

I think my problem is jasmine, a specific type of jasmine in any perfume, dupe, Arab or whatever. I have loads of Arab frags and I love them, esp the oud ones.

The champagne/pear combo sounds so zesty, sweet, and juicy.
