Months ago, ended up getting a Proteus 2000 as one of my first Emu Synths. I was honestly having fun playing with it and making some custom patches on the user bank! Iโll eventually get an expansion rom for it soon.

"Busy day, Alan?"
Sigma's face from Project X Zone 2 added over pixelart of four grey triceratops standing on four platforms in front of a rickety wooden device with the words "Sigmor" painted on it. A repost of a repost, but it's one of my favorites and I didn't add hashtags last time.

Sigma's head from Project x Zone 2 added over pixelart of a blonde woman wearing her hair in a bun and wearing a blue dress seated on a pink clamshell. She extends her finger out towards a cupid with a heart arrow and gold halo who has Kaiser Sigma's tiny head edited over it. If I had a nickel for every time I edited Sigma over pixelart of characters on clamshells from sexy comedy shmups I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird its happened twice.

Saigo no Nindou / Ninja Spirit (1988): A dramatic promotional illustration dominated by a masked ninja in a dark hooded outfit and metallic face guard, crouched in a powerful stance holding a glowing blue sword vertically with both hands as intense lightning-like energy streaks radiate outward from the blade. Towering behind him looms a massive menacing demonic face with glowing eyes, jagged teeth, and horn-like protrusions against a deep blue stormy sky with swirling clouds and electric blue cracks. Inset arcade screenshots show gameplay scenes including a boss fight with a multi-armed demon, temple stages with statues, and action sequences. Japanese and English promotional text in bold yellow and red lettering overlays the composition, with the Irem logo, copyright notice, and taglines emphasizing hard-boiled ninja action and weapon freedom.

A sprite edit combining Sigma's head from Project X Zone 2 heads with the robotic armor Guardian. The hulking, biped robot has a triple-barrel cannon on each arm. I LOVE how imposing this boss is, I managed to meet it every optional time before actually being able to beat it at the end of the game.

Koukaku Kidoutai: Ghost in the Shell (1997): A dynamic cyberpunk illustration featuring a female cyborg with short blue hair, intense red eyes, and a form-fitting black bodysuit with purple and gold accents, posed confidently with one arm raised overhead as thick black cables connect from a large metallic headpiece to her body. She stands in the foreground with a determined expression. In the background, a muscular male figure in a tan trench coat crouches low while aiming a handgun forward with a stern, focused look. Surrounding them are large red robotic machines with glowing pink visors, mechanical arms, and cables weaving through the scene.

METAL GEAR AC!D 2 (2005): Intense promotional artwork for Metal Gear AC!D 2 set against a bright yellow background. A heavily armored, battle-worn male soldier with a headband kneels in the foreground, gripping a large assault rifle across his chest. His rugged face is stern and shadowed. Behind and around him looms a massive, detailed black raven with glowing yellow eye and spread wings, its feathers blending into the explosive, sunburst-like yellow backdrop.

A Dreamcast game cover for "Giga Wing 2" by Capcom, featuring a vibrant and dynamic design. The cover showcases an anime-style artwork with multiple characters: a woman in a red outfit with a large weapon, a man in a white coat, and other figures with intense expressions. A blue fighter plane is prominently displayed in the center, with additional aircraft and a dramatic red moon in the background. The text "ACTIVATE YOUR REFLECT POWER AND THEN DIVE INTO A STORM OF BULLETS!" is written at the bottom, along with the Capcom and Dreamcast logos.
Giga Wing 2 (2001) by Takumi and Capcom. The original Takumi pitch for Giga Wing did not include Bullet Reflect, which was invented through discussions with Capcom. Character art by Kei Toume.
Japanese Mega Drive box art for the game EX-RANZA (known as Ranger-X in the West). The illustration features a large, detailed, blue and gray transforming mecha standing dynamically against a cloudy blue sky. The mecha is holding a large rifle and has multiple wings and angular armor plating. Another smaller, darker flying craft is visible in the background, along with a landing platform. The title EX-RANZA is prominently displayed in large yellow and red letters at the top. The overall style is classic 1990s Japanese mecha illustration.
