Cataloguers, do you have any recs about where I can get a sense of the landscape of the field? What % of original records come from what orgs, what the balance of copy v original cataloguing is done at different kinds of institutions, etc.?

Yes! It's definitely one of the most bizarre things that has ever happened to me. I was at the UC Davis horse barn, and one of the horses opened his mouth and essentially let out a fire hose of carrot onto my legs. After a brief moment of shock I started laughing because what else to do?
