Well-written and insightful piece here. As a Rockies fan, it's a tough read as so much of this data re: trends/areas to focus on and change has been out there (and yet, nothing was done about it).

Old enough to remember 1) yes, lobbyists helped write ACA, but 2) Dems didn't want to put ~750k healthcare workers (now ~1M) at risk during the Great Recession. Third? The gov could not administer on its own.
