Genshin ships feel more earthly? in a way LOL in that usually ships (w/ some exceptions) tend to literally be close in proximity. it's easier to write about the mundanity of two characters existing with each other when they're less pressed for time and actually live on the same planet lmfao

HSR ships tend to be more emotionally charged with all the grand cosmic forces at play (and lotssss backstories w/ loss), so I tend to lean more towards more emotional stuff when writing for HSR. the pining goes hard lmao and we've got characters who will travel galaxies for the ppl they love

I feel like I write differently for HSR and Genshin lol just due to how ships work in each series

like, series that are more complete I obviously love consuming, but I feel less inclined to write for them

hyv stuff is so easy to write for bc all the characters don't show up enough to have satisfactory conclusions LOL which makes me want to go in and finish the stuff myself

I do wanna write for franchises beyond hyv stuff, but tbh the only reason I haven't is bc I haven't found anything else to write for yet lmao
