I beat Monster Hunter Wilds.
Now give me that expansion!

Damn, I guess I gotta live till at least 2032.
The EVO situation is dire.
Damn, just adding some granola makes yogurt taste way better and changes it from a nothing meal to something actually filling.
This is the kind of thing I wish I knew earlier.
Slowly but surely getting better at Clone Hero. I'm glad I committed to playing 5 buttons from the start, most of these custom charts are expert only.
It's really satisfying to go back to a song I struggled with and have a much easier time while getting a new high score.
Honestly though, I would have much preferred that they dropped a visual/60fps patch for Xenoblade 2 & 3(and their respective DLCs, X too) and just moved forward with a brand new entry in the series instead of some remaster/remake/definitive edition.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 getting a remaster seems both silly and a good idea. It's a game that came out on the Switch so it doesn't have same need Xenoblade 1 did, having been released on Wii originally.
At the same time, this could be a nice opportunity to fix some glaring issues that game had.
No delivery windows on Sunday/Monday I get due to weather but nothing on Saturday?
Feels pretty shitty since they're charging extra for Amazon Fresh.
It's been over a decade since I played a guitar game and clone hero is exactly what I was looking for me to get back into them.
The CRKD guitar I picked up seems to have been a good choice since I was able to get everything working without much issue.
Excited to play more and get better.
My review for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon is ongoing but embargo is up today.
I would say this is the entry that people wanted the Daybreak 2 to be as it moves the story forward in very interesting/dramatic ways. It's also the most refined combat/visuals for the series yet.
It's equal parts sad and amusing watching people trying to get AI to something for them for hours, trying different prompts, different agents and bots.
All the while they could've just taken that time to have learned how to do it themselves.
It took ages but I'm finally caught up on all the reviews!
Nothing I want to review till January so I can take some time to hit the backlog.
Been playing a lot of Disgaea 7 Complete. I'm glad I waited for the complete version to play the game since it includes all the DLC and there have been various QoL improvements that makes the leveling/gearing up smoother.
Still one of my favorite series, nice to see it back in form after awful D6.
Octopath 0 embargo is up but my review isn't ready yet since I just finished it yesterday night clocking in at around 80~ hours.
Definitely a step back from Octopath 2 in many ways but it does make up for it in other areas somewhat. It would be more favorable to judge this not as a sequel.
Happy 8th anniversary of Xenoblade 2.
I really hope they've got some Switch 2 improvement patches in the works for the Xenoblade games. I would love to replay Xenoblade 2 with a visuals/60FPS patch on switch 2.
Perhaps we'll get an announcement for it along with the next game in the series.
Tales of Zestiria (the PS3 game connected to Berseria that came out before it) hasn't been announced for remaster.
That makes this decision all the more confusing tbh.
Speaking of Tales games, I would love to see a Tales of Legendia remaster as well. It may not be the best game in the series but the music alone makes it noteworthy.

Yes, I'm not against the remaster per say, it's more so that there are still older titles like Tales of Abyss that desperately needs a remaster and other Tales games that never officially made it to the states that I would've liked to seen get this treatment first.
I liked Tales of Berseria a lot but why remaster this when there's so many older Tales games that needs the remastered treatment more?
I truly cannot comprehend the thought process that goes into a decision like this.
Finished Outer Worlds 2.
Avowed didn't click with me at all, it was a pleasant surprise to see how much fun I had with this one.
The lack of inventory weight/limit was a breath of fresh air that let me unleash my inner loot goblin and while a bit overly simplified, I had fun with its mechanics.
Looks like my account was suspended from twitter even though it's been set to private for years and I barely use it for violating "inauthentic behaviors."
Not worth the appeal but it's unfortunate I won't be able to contact some people I only know on there. Hopefully I can find some of them here.
If you're in the mood to play a spooky game tonight, I recommend "Look Outside".
A wonderfully atmospheric 2D pixel art cosmic horror game that is as brutal as it is intriguing.
Take solace in the fact that even after you die, the microplastics in your body will continue to exist.
It warms my heart to see all the positive reactions to Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake.
While the wait for the second game will likely feel long, just know that fans playing the game on the PSP on original release in the states had to wait over 4 years to see the conclusion to the story.
That would be lovely, not too many titles left to see that happen at this point although the Professor Layton + AA games could be challenging due to licensing.
Man, Capcom will do everything else BUT make a new Ace Attorney game.
The PC port is also much better than I expected without PH3 handling it directly and runs very well with native UW support, which is always a plus in my book.
This is going to be the definitive gateway into this beloved but admittedly long, and intimidating series for anyone that's interested.
My review of Trails in Sky 1st Chapter is ongoing but I'll say my impressions so far are very positive. They've done so many things right with this remake that there are really only small blemishes like the uneven use of voice acting which has become an unfortunate staple of trails holding it back.
I haven't had to wear socks in 2 months.
It's great.
Why is it so many people that seems to love to argue about every little thing is so bad at arguing their point?
You'd think with all that practice, they would be half decent at it.
