Thank you! Still have to finish his shoes, his watch, and the book he's carrying tucked under his right arm.

I definitely had a "it's like looking in a mirror" moment with this one.
28mm miniature of an overweight white male holding a bottle of Mountain Dew and wearing red shoes, khaki shorts, and a white T-shirt. The slogan on it is partially obscured, but what's visible reads "I (HEART) HENT" with the last word presumably being "Hentai."
Working on a pack of "Modern Townsfolk - Geeks" from Reaper Miniatures. This might be one of the most amusing figures I've ever painted.
Happy to provide!
The first of my Zombicide monsters from @weidbrewer.bsky.social has been painted and is up for viewing!

Looking forward to following this project!
I love that! Haven't seen a Nessie one before, just Bigfoot and Mothman. That's fantastic.
A black baseball cap that says "Bigfoot is Real and He Tried to Eat my ass" in white embroidered text with a white silhouette of Bigfoot.
Excellent hat. I keep meaning to buy this one:
Depending on what I get done over the next few days, today might be my last day for Analogue Hobby Painting Challenge posts, as the Challenge ends soon. I'll have a second post this afternoon, but for now, enjoy 3 Card Monte Guy and his VW Vanagon:

Poppy, a brown and white cat, sleeps sprawled on a cardboard scratch pad on the floor.
His soft, plush bed is less than 5 feet away but heβs sleeping on his scratch pad today. Okay.
It's reaching the time of year where regulating my temperature to where I can sleep peacefully at night is a herculean task, so the question now is, do I pour myself another cup of coffee here, or slither out into the rain to retrieve a BIG coffee from the cafe?
Asteropaios, lord of the Paionians, and his promachoi for Ilium: A Games of Heroes scenarios. 28mm European Bronze Age miniatures from Foundry.

We had a friend who knew and chose to bury her head in the sand and claim she "couldn't" let go of Harry Potter despite knowing that Rowling's a microwaved dog turd.
Key word "had"
Damn skippy I want the jawbone-shaped ruler for measuring movement distances.

The science checks out, this is in fact ideal.
I get the satisfaction of knowing that I'm validating him and reaffirming his belief that he's the smartest and special-est storyteller of all time.
Seriously though, I'm checking out on the project. 90% of my concerns are getting dismissed as "that's not wrong, it's just a stylistic choice."
Interior view of the hot dog stand, showing a checkerboard tile floor and a fire extinguisher hanging on the wall.
Interior view, showing the exit sign over the doorway.
Interior view, a sign hanging on the wall says "Notice: Employees must wash hands before handling food"
And a glance at the interior. I have STLs of a grill, fridge, and outdoor trash can I'd like to get printed and added to this. Also, I have two picnic tables to paint still.
Front view of a model hot dog stand. The building is brown and red, with a red and white sign over the windows, which look scuffed and dirty. There's dustiness around the building at ground level.
Side view, showing the door and side window. The roof overhangs the front, and is set at an angle.
Rear view, showing the air conditioner on the roof and vent on the back wall.
My hot dog stand from Things From The Basement is as finished as it's going to get until the guy who does my 3D printing for me gets back from vacation.
It's a diagnosis that changed every aspect of our lives permanently. It colors everything, factors into every decision either one of us has made since the diagnosis was made in 2022.
We're profoundly lucky that we were able to catch her condition relatively early on and are in a position to treat aggressively; as much as I bitch about my job, my insurance makes it possible for her to see some of the best specialists in the country for treatment.
This week happens to be MS Awareness Week. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease where the body mistakes the nervous system for an enemy invader. Gina has relapsing remitting MS, which manifests in distinct attacks versus a progressive deterioration.

Gina's twice-yearly neuro appointment to track any changes in her MS was this morning. As always, there's no getting better or recovering from the damage already done; but nothing has gotten worse in the past half-year, and we're grateful for that.
A friend who doesn't read wrote and self-published a novel a few years ago and now he's revising it to re-publish in hopes of getting more sales. I agreed to beta-read some of his revisions. The first chapter is 30 pages of sentence fragments. I don't know what god I angered but I'm so sorry.
Like I said, I have no direct knowledge. The bakery we go to did a cross-promotion with one of them, I can ask next time I go in (which could very well be tomorrow morning).
I have no idea, I've never been in any of them. Guessing they take cards?
Thanks! Next on the docket is to finally detail the interior of a video store; I've got little posters for The Toxic Avenger and C.H.U.D. to put on the walls.
But since legalization, we've had a ton of dispensaries crop up in my town so I decided to build one for my wargaming tables.
Funnily enough, I don't partake; I suspect my body doesn't produce the enzyme that cannabis interacts with, so despite the best efforts of some serious stoner friends, THC doesn't have any effect on me (other than some gummies giving me dry mouth).
A view of the interior of a model building. The walls are green and the floor is black and white checkerboard; there's a front counter, a shelf with a variety of green, ground items on display, and a display counter featuring cups of something green. The wall has posters for the Cheech and Chong films "Up in Smoke" and "Nice Dreams," as well as a Grateful Dead concert.
Another angle of the same building, showing the back wall; a black exit door is clearly marked, and a poster depicting Gilbert Shelton's Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers hangs on the wall.
Another angle, showing a wall with a large Phish poster flanked by multiple blacklight posters on either side.
More fanciful than accurate, but I've completed the interior detailing on my dispensary. The furniture is a "spice shop" set from Miniature Building Authority; if I can find someone making scale model bongs I'll add a shelf of them, but until then this is it.
