in the abstract? Absolutely the right response. But it sort of resets the scales for a show where that’s the response Colbert is going to get if he mentions that Timothee Chalamet acknowledges people don’t like opera as much as they used to.
On Colbert, the audience just theatrically booed Iran placing land mines.
Fire Sale Maxxing.
Pop Tartsicles? Seems…niche.
I’m missing some context here. And, you know what? I’m okay with it.
It sort of goes without saying, and it’s certainly implied by the constitution, but I feel like one of the reforms we need in the future is the explicit rate limiting of law enforcement to what the prison system and judicial system can bear.
i think it’s pretty solid. and then you call the slurry of properties you Space Jam all the IP into a “Super Smash Broth.“
He’s a funny looking guy with a funny name is what I’m saying
Look at how Kai Schwemmer-looking that Kai Schwemmer-ass Kai Schemmer is.
Before I went back to school, I used to go to the ballet and symphony.
It’s funny. I didn’t see any of you people claiming it’s still relevant at any of the shows.

One of the first things Donald Trump did this term was pardon Ross Ulbricht for his Silk Road online criminal market - which specialized in more dangerous drugs, but also had weapons.
Ulbricht, who also hired a hitman to kill his rivals, was a celebrity of the crypto movement.
Never underestimate the ingenuity of teens.
Panel 1: Shen is standing in a complicated machine, having seemingly just appeared inside it with sparks of green electricity. His clothes billow as he yells "AAA!! WHERE AM I??" Panel 2: A serious looking, realistically drawn scientist begins to, with furrowed brow and intense shading, seriously explain: "It is the year 2155. We brought someone from the past who has an attention span of more than 6 seconds to" Panel 3: The scientist is suddenly very simply/cutely drawn, now having raised his phone to his face and happily looking at it. Panel 4: Shen raises his hands in a confused gesture and frustratedly says "YOU GUYS BUILT A TIME MACHINE IN 6 SECOND INTERVALS??"

EXCLUSIVE: 7 months ago, Ukraine tried to sell the U.S. their battle-proven technology for downing Iranian-made drones.
The Trump administration dismissed the Ukrainians, only to reverse course last week after more-than-expected Iranian drone strikes.
Graph, taken from: https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2012/12/more-than-half-of-american-homes-dont-use-a-landline/266675/ shows that telephone adoption was slow - below 40 percent in 1920 - and growth was slower than other technologies.
I've taken a graph from The Atlantic (link in alt-text) about the rate of adoption of different technologies modified to highlight with the period of the study.
Not only was adoption still under 40% by 1920, the rate people would have expected tech to be adopted was much slower.
But so much art is only art due to context. And it's disingenuous to say that the humanity isn't part of the experience for a lot of people.
