No, the wood broke just where it meets the metal, on an interchangeable tip. Obviously knitting too enthusiastically! Thankfully very sticky Shetland wool so stitches stayed perfectly in place.
Yup, the tip broke where the wood meets the metal. In fairness I've used KP interchangeables for years and I think this is the first time it's happened to me.
No lifeline, but thankfully it's very sticky Shetland wool so the stitches weren't going anywhere!
No, need to pop to shop tomorrow to get a new tip, but plenty of other WIPs to get on with in the meantime!
Going into town tomorrow to buy a new one, stitches are on a spare DPN for now!
Oh yes the crochet hook trick is so helpful! Luckily not needed here as the yarn is very sticky Shetland wool so the stitches weren't going anywhere!

Portrait of Miguel Anxo, former mayor of Pontevedra, standing outdoors in front of blurred greenery. A large white serif quote appears on the left side of the image reading: βItβs not my duty as mayor to make sure you have a parking spot. For me, itβs the same as if you bought a cow, or a refrigerator, and then asked me where youβre going to put them.β His name and title appear below the quote.

Me: I have ADHD which affects my ability to control and maintain focus.
NHS: Great. Every 6 months you must self-administer a blood pressure and pulse check through an obscure online portal.

My partner uses one of those to darn socks and jeans, they're great.
Calling this movement βfeministβ is so utterly misleading.
Just watched the first two eps, really liking so far.
It's something I really miss having moved from Wales to England. I used to be able to press the button to use a cash machine in Welsh!

I've put mine in the attic. Not sure I'm ready to junk, but don't need them where I can see them.
The beginning of a stranded colourwork knitted vest, mostly green, with a broad ribbing then about two inches of colourwork, still on the needle.
This is a different, still in progress piece of knitting.
Ha it's looking a bit grim at the moment with all the dog hair
