Contacting clients to let them know that I'm ready to start on their requests and ask for details of said request to start working on them as soon as they reply are technically updates.
Also since those are not concept or clean sketches, I am not contractually obligated to share them here (?)

I'd love to take a week off, but for that I have to crunch myself in order to make two weeks worth of money in one week.
That's freelancing for ya.

Dang it. This is beyond my control. I took three more requests, but I can't find the specifications so I messaged the clients and I'm waiting for a response.
Welp, I tried.
I will make them as soon as they reply, tho.

This was a clean-up so the others shouldn't take that much time.

I'm gonna post the following statement here to gather some social pressure from all of you:
Tonight I'll stay up late and have updates for AT LEAST three (3) requests on my commissions waitlist.
I will reply to this post with proof as soon as I have it (cropped concept or clean sketches)

Drawing.
Two tabaxi characters wrestling. One of them tied by his wrists and ankles with roots. The other, shapeshifted into a bear, struck him like a cannonball. Meanwhile, a third one, acting as a commentator for the fight, says "Yep. Never wrestle with druids. They always cheat. That's how he got me too~"

Okay, quick tip:
Bluesky got this big because of Twitter's heavy right-sided bias and overreliance on AI, forcing people to leave to other apps.
So that's exactly where you should NOT take the app.
Yes, we may not know about social media app management, but we know why we left the other place.

Around 1500 each US dollar.
On one hand, it sucks because everything is relatively expensive.
On the other, art commissions are particularly viable.

I don't have the comic book attempt at hand, but it's probably on my PC at home. I'll look for it later.
The comic would be an abridged retelling of the first Metal Gear for the MSX, and it would feature an artstyle closer to Max Comix than these comic pages.

Here are some of the comic pages.
Don't expect me to translate them, that would require more brain power than I currently have.
The first is a Simpsons reference, the second one is Gray Fox's hypocrisy of using a weapon, and the last one is self-explanatory.

Also I couldn't come up with a good name.
I originally went with Fecal Gear/Fecal Gear Solid, but I didn't want to make the obvious and make the mechas giant turds.
With time, I started to dislike the title more and more.
But I REALLY want to make cheap and quick one-shots (one for each game).

Drawing of Solid Snake from Metal Gear.
Fun fact: I always wanted to make a Metal Gear parody comic.
I tried several times.
I started making random, self contained pages.
Then I tried to make it an actual comic book but I couldn't get far.
It's hard to try to do something that Gigi Digi/Hiimdaisy or Ohthatsraspberry haven't done yet.

There are prints, stickers and copies of Max Comix, among other merch.

Update: Yes. There's input lag in docked mode. Handheld is more responsive.
Got Platinum with little issue (mostly my rusty muscle memory of this particular version of the game).

And draw more often.
Not everything has to be the latest fully rendered illustration commission that took me a whole week to make, lol.

Tried both on TV, so that's why it was weird to see CB4 being so responsive compared to NST.
I'll try handheld later, it was kind of the reason why I bought them again despite having them on PS4 already.

But I am noticing some input lag, which made me struggle a bit with the first two levels.
I thought it was a joycon issue but then I tried CB4 and got the NSPR on the first two levels on my first try, controls were really snappy and responsive.
Weird.

I bought the Crash Bandicoot collection on Switch because it was at a discount price.
And dang... Removing that fuzzy fur effect really improves Crash's model in that game.

Exactly, LMAO
I think you never actually see the Metal Gear in the whole game.
Also the computer is not even a boss fight. There are 4 guards in the room. You kill them and that's it. You're alone, no one bothers you. You have all the time in the world to plant the bombs.
No security system.

Oh, I thought that the NES Metal Gear games were just roms thrown there with no QOL options whatsoever but nope, they do have savestates.
My bad, I played MG NES on my R36 when I could've played it in the Collection, lol.
I'll play Snake's Revenge there then.

Cover.
Computer where the Metal Gear should be.
You don't even fight it with a bombing sequence, just place 16 bombs and it'll be destroyed. No defense systems whatsoever.
Ending.
22) Metal Gear (NES, 1987)
Different and inferior, but not BAD bad.
๐ข You can shoot weapons while inside a cardboard box, and the inventory is less chaotic to look at. There's no โผ๏ธ alerts.
๐ด Confusing jungle sections for the sake of it. You don't even fight the Metal Gear at the end. Messy menu.

If I had to describe this game in one word, it'd be: UGLY.
๐ข It's pretty short.
๐ด Seriously, I hate the art direction. Everything looks really, really ugly, and it came out AFTER Sonic Chaos! Also there are water levels which are also labyrinths, so EWยฒ

In the MSX version, you can stack on rations and ammo by leaving and re-entering a room.
In the NES version you don't even need to leave the room, just by opening and closing the transceiver, they respawn.
The NES game is pretty hard in many areas, but easier in others (it also has less enemies)
