My man wrote a scene in which a white guy talks about "dead [n-word] storage", then cast himself in the scene. Actually, let me just paste this meme that sums up so much of what I loathe about his coloniser ass.

Julia Hartley-Brewer has made a career out of being condescending to people with brown accents, and it makes my day when embarrasses the bullshit out of her.
Israeli soldiers were killed by brown people terrorism while Lebanese buildings simply disintegrate and Iranian school girls spontaneously stop being alive - similar to how Palestinian babies just instantly combust in well-documented examples written up by the NYT.
What would you suggest?
My condolences. (I always disliked that weasel. Only a shitstain would write the Jimmy scene in "Pulp Fiction" then cast their pasty ass in it.)
Best film I've seen in the last six, seven years.

I liked it, too, although was confused on a couple of points. Would the Steam forums have been the right outlet?
Loved this demo. So much personality and unique!
Oh, cool! Skipped that one. I wishlisted your game. Good luck!
Incidentally, Steam Next Fest had a couple of games I think you'd like: Awaysis and Hark the Ghoul. Maybe Divinum, too. I enjoyed all three.
Was this at Next Fest? Seems up my alley, but I never saw it.
Love this and its sister game "Overboard!"
Cool interview with Shigesato Itoi, Shigeru Miyamoto, and author Seikou Itou in 1989. It's full of gems, like their point about beating games.

Okay! You got me started on indie platformers, so I had to ask! Thanks.
@nitrorad.bsky.social Are you gonna review Demon Tides?
Which distro are you using? I'm on the hunt for a new laptop and switching over.
Happy birthday!
This causes me deep pain, even though I laugh. Man. What are we?
Caught myself doing an eyeroll at the latest missile going overhead. Frog, meet boiling water.
A bunch of Steam Next Fest demoes. Some really good ones. "Crushed in Time" is a weird, charming one with a unique mechanic.
Missiles flying overhead again, windows shaking. The west is crazy, man.
Haha it sounds like you're saying their messages are regressive.
A little thread about animating walk cycles in adventure games:
I've always tried to find the sweet spot between frame count and speed. You don't want to sacrifice character speed in favor of too smooth an animation. But I've always wanted to get my walk cycles to look natural. (π§΅1/6)

Lovely that Francesca Albanese is as impressive in real life as she is being interviewed.
Count on the BBC to not censor the n-word, but to censor "Free Palestine".
Steam Next Fest is on and man, as always, in awe of the creativity.
(But I need indie devs to lay off roguelikes, "Unpacking" clones, farming games, and deck builders a little.)
What the hell are "limited strikes", anyway? Stop letting euphemisms warp your perception of things.

I'm as protective of the originalβmy first From gameβas anyone. But the plasmified spells, the grunts, the thudsβthe remake's sounds were inspired. It's not a perfect remake, but lord did I love it.
