Fun times!
The old ways have become conspicuously obsolete, but the saving grace is that thereβs still time to embrace new ones. I canβt will a rebellion into existence. But I have a fairly large, politically engaged audience, a long memory, and an eye for who's open for change and who's trying to stifle it.
βthis false choice that some are buying instead of fighting is unacceptableβ
CLOG THEIR LINES NOW
Is Schumer really this bad at politics or is he humiliating the democrats on purpose
We're facing a hostile government takeover and @democrats.senate.gov can do something about it.
The Trump-Musk spending bill will make our constituents hungrier, sicker, and poorer.
Listen to your constituents. Do not cede your leverage. Hold the line.

So so so disappointed in my NY representation in @schumer.senate.gov - we will not forget this. In unprecedented times, we need someone who will fight and not capitulate. Time for new leadership.
David Axelrod lays it all out. We have amateurs running the show.
Her work is always worth reading.
The military helicopter that collided with an American Airlines regional jet appears to have been flying too high and outside its approved flight path at the time of the crash, according to four people briefed on the matter but not authorized to speak publicly.
Staffing was βnot normalβ at airport tower, according to a preliminary F.A.A. report. Staffing at the air traffic control tower at Ronald Reagan National Airport was βnot normal for the time of day and volume of traffic,β according to an internal preliminary Federal Aviation Administration safety report about the collision that was reviewed by The New York Times. The controller who was handling helicopters in the airportβs vicinity Wednesday night was also instructing planes that were landing and departing from its runways. Those jobs typically are assigned to two controllers, rather than one.
Trump, Vance, Hegseth, and Combs all said they were briefed on the collision, so they all knew about this internal FAA report when they went on TV to blame minorities for the crash.

Stop saying that Trump & his Republican & media sycophants are attacking βDEI.β Bullshit. Theyβre not attacking DEI. Theyβre attacking brown people, black people, and women. From now on, say that. Because itβs the truth.π
Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde is the Christian that Franklin Graham failed to be.
I hope local news outlets all over the country are doing this. People should know if pardoned J6-ers who assaulted cops are returning to their communities, and what they did.
This matters. Not because I think Trump is capable of mercy or empathy towards these vulnerable groups. But because it is a public act of defiance.
Contrast that with all these other powerful people in this country signaling nothing but appeasement and obedience.

Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde was nearing the end of her sermon for the inaugural prayer service on Tuesday when she took a breath and looked directly at President Trump.
βI ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now,β said Bishop Budde. nyti.ms/4jtuyHA
