I deeply dislike the FIFA-esque money men running English cricket. They cut the Championship & sideline England players but want Ashes/WTC success; devalue the ODC but want World Cup success; & think 16-over games are the key to T20 success—all while chasing short-term profits over real progress.

At least there’ll be some wildlife that doesn’t terrify me!

Today is the last day of weekend County Championship cricket at The Oval this season.

This and the kookaburra ball show how little the ECB think of it and soon we’ll have the confirmation of a reduction in games.
