A baby very close to some saxophonists
They gave her a shaker and introduced her as a new member of the band. This was after the tree played a saxophone solo too. Great time

The day would have been a win even if it had just been the time in the queue, but it was great inside too!
Baby running through water fountains in a queue
That might have been us! I meant the damp child being carried with bare feet on the left haha. Could not keep her away from it. Went through 3 pairs of pants today
Went to the opening of Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui, the Wellington central library. So good. Excited to read some books and use some sewing machines and microfilm over the coming months and years. The cafe was great and ran very smoothly for a first day at capacity. Also the baby joined a brass band
Ha thatβs our damp child on the left
Ha youβve captured the moment before someone came and tamed the queue to curl back onto itself. Had a great time in the queue, great time in the library
(I know a lot but at a 2024 vintage)
Can you DM me?
ngers corporate emissions data
Emissions from Australia's biggest data centre operator are *definitely* growing. Airtrunk is the worst but everyone's on the way up. This isn't projections and possibilities, anymore.

Thanks! Really enjoying the show otherwise!
@mattbevan.bsky.social hi, we have been really enjoying Black Swans. Except for 24:53 into this where there is a horrible high pitched noise in the TV clip youtu.be/qr7oj5_o5x8?...

A bite out of a book called βteeth are not for bitingβ
This library book tells an extra story
A photo taken by a baby who has borrowed a phone. A blue sky with a couple of distinct wispy clouds. The top of a crane. The top of a babyβs head.
Photography by baby
Thatβs the one
Itβs the PHO one. Mine and Oliverβs GPs have moved to it too www.dha.org.nz/member-news/...
Probably have the same PHO
I donβt think thereβs a phrase as elegant. Itβs all βmaking an oblique reference toβ or βindirectly referencingβ but theyβre stripped of the gossipy subtext
Have you also made observations on the ads? There were a lot of life insurance ads when I was there
It also recommends Chris Brown and Drake artist radio??
I donβt know, I feel like they could have been a little more personalised here
6. Iβm the Problem - Morgan Wallen (6/37 songs greyed out for explicit language)
7. Hit me hard and soft - Billie Eilish (no explicit language apparently)
8. Best White Noise For Sleeping Baby
(no explicit language)
9. 10 Hours of Continuous Rain Sounds for Sleeping (no explicit language)
For a 1 year old they recommend, in order:
1. Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
2. channel ORANGE - Frank Ocean (9/16 tracks greyed out for explicit language)
3. Blond - Frank Ocean (7/17 tracks greyed out)
4. Youβll be all right kid - Alex Warren (0 grey)
5. Short n sweet - Sabrina Carpenter (7/12 grey)
Just made a Spotify account for the baby so we can play her baby stuff. Itβs a special supervised kids account, included her date of birth in 2025, specified that she should not be able to access explicit music.
Guess how many of the 10 albums on the landing page have tracks with explicit language
The tragic loss of lives in NZ flooding events this week are climate change deaths. Media and govt are avoiding the topic.
Leaders and commentators must acknowledge the emerging reality of ordinary summer rainstorms carrying volumes of water akin to tropical cyclones of previous decades.
You know what is still online actually - github.com/minhealthnz/...
I think it might have been eaten by redirects and content migrations. Iβll follow up. Itβs a stellar PIA and nobody should miss it
Happy to answer any questions. The PIA is probably the most thorough documentation but I actually canβt find it with a quick google π
Let's talk about generative AI, contaminated information, and rhubarb.
Once upon a time, Europe was at war.
Food was scarce, and the government of the quote-unquote United Kingdom looked for alternatives. 1/
