I think this is the essence of it. When his admirers say he speaks the truth, it is not about facts, it’s that he speaks their “language,” how they view the world. As they see it, he does not speak down to them, but affirms their ignorance.

There are credible reports that the target was selected by AI. Thus the commanders of the pilots and the pilots are responsible for relying on a system known to not be reliable in making such determinations. AI does not kill people, people do. So to speak.
When the objectives keep changing, the war continues. I suspect an objective will be identified and declared achieved. And this will happen when the economic and political costs become unbearable. I hope this will happen soon.
My projects for many years, and many spin off projects, were enabled by NEH.
Though not the PI, several projects on which I was consulting were terminated. In one case, it affected multiple grants that supported multiple people. The immediate response was to go into crisis mode, figuring out how to support the people. I am sure this was the same for multiple projects.

Just saw this on another platform. Overseas military folks getting prenatal care are being told that the ‘host nation’ must provide this, but only after 36 weeks (just shy of 9 months). Landstuhl is not remotely a hardship tour. I think we all know what’s going on here.
