finished first short story in about 8 months. Definite sense of relief when you finish something. I consistently wonder if I will ever write anything again. A lot of writers feel this way. Until you finish something. And then you start worrying all over again. But for now I’ll allow myself to smile

My wife broke up a fight between two crows. I have since informed her of the real scientific fact that crows can hold grudges. She is now wondering which one of the two is going to murder her.
As funny as this is I genuinely believe that the work you have created will lend you a type of immortality that only most can dream of. You deserve that. And the world deserves that.
Our offices are much closer than that but we are probably more likely to meet on EGS8p7 for a coffee.
I’m usually a very positive person, and I always try to see the good in life. But lately the world feels like it’s in a bad way, and it’s genuinely scary. I’ve never felt that before. I just have to believe kindness, and goodness will win through.
Northern Lights from my house
I’m very late to the party on this. I’ve just finished season 1 of Southland and I think it’s one of the best police procedural shows I’ve ever seen. It’s like The Shield , The Wire, Homicide Life on the Street and NYPD Blue all rolled into one.

was at the cinema over Christmas to see Saipan. first time to the cinema in two years. Much harder to get there these days. Local cinema has been refurbished with reclining seats and superb surround sound. I had forgotten what an experience the cinema is. Can’t wait to go again in another two years

Sis got me this for Christmas. ( my request ). At one stage only 5 libraries in the world had a copy. is absolutely the strangest book I have ever read. The first line of the book is “ He walked into the turbulent supermarket”. some experience. short book but a book that I am still thinking about
