I am a trans-nonbinary man whose life is actively being saved through birth control because I have PCOS. Restricting access causes more people to be at risk for health issues beyond their control.
This isn’t to say one is worse than another. I think though, acknowledging our dissonance of our own brutal history towards BIPOC would be more benificial to stop repeating it. Cause it keeps happening, it’s been happening, and there’s a reason they want us to look overseas for brutality instead 2/2

I’m currently sitting somewhere between wanting to hammer away my healing journey and remembering I’m human, I’m supposed to feel these feelings.
Healing is realizing regulating myself doesnt mean I’m supposed to shut my emotions down to calm. And, because I never got a blueprint for actual peace, it’s okay be uneasy in this.
I’ve either finally met a Trader Joe’s employee who didn’t feel like they were hitting on me, or I’ve truly healed enough to accept if someone was flirting with me - they’d say it.
