This is an extremely surface level view of the issue. The problem is that we both want a President who can respond to immediate threat but is constrained by Congress. The previous standard was that wars of choice were taken to Congress. That norm was broken. Impeachment should follow.

Agree, but I think you’re missing two groups of people
1. Anti-government lawyers. Dean Plocher, David Tyson Smith, and Bill Hardwick are all practicing attorneys who served. They, in shockingly, vote(d) for things and supported bills that harm you because they make their practices more lucrative.
It’s time to start paying our legislators a real salary and lifting term limits. Having terminally online retirees and those who’ve never had a career running the show in Jeff City is just getting us gun violence and concerns about things that aren’t real.

I’ve had it happen one time where a right wing nutjob (who I happened to be related to) told me that they understood Jesus said “turn the other cheek” and acknowledged the power of the story of the Good Samaritan, but they didn’t think it was a model for us in the war on terror.
Not going to lie, one of my biggest problems with the religious right is that they tell me how there’s nothing their religion asks them to do they think is over the top. They can tell me all about the faults of their spouse though. Kinda nuts when you and the almighty are in perfect agreement.

I’m glad someone is calling out that the deal Kansas’ Governor said would cost taxpayers nothing is actually a multi-billion dollar giveaway to an already rich family for a product Kansas citizens already enjoyed.
The thing people don’t realize is that in the 90s there was a lot more similarity among the parties and the real issue was “how much do we give to the poor” or “what is the marginal tax rate?”
