You can be the hyena who giggles, laughs and then devours the rest of the body, or you could be a human who fights off the leopard, protects the victim and provides first aid to those who’ve been harmed. I guess my question is what do my fellow Democrats want to be? The hyena or the human?
There are a couple of ways to react to someone whose face has been eaten by a leopard.
If your pastor is trying to preach bravely right now, support her or him.
Up your pledge (to make up anyone threatening to withdraw support) if you have the means.
Tell them that you have their back.
Speak up in defense of bravery and truth.
Pray for the pastor-and your fellow parishioners.
