the easy to find spicy chili crisp stuff is nice! definitely enjoy it! however.
have just discovered that my introduction to the glory that is chili crisp was actually chili crisp with pork slivers, which is MUCH MORE DIFFICULT to find in stores
I spent some time today browsing through the hundreds & hundreds of new (to us) image cuts at Skeuomorph & pulling out my favorites. There are so many options, but the winner may be this little frog riding his velocipede
Not feeling well today, but I did recently do a quick print per @plach.bsky.social & @quinnanya.me's suggestion (see Pam's 🧵 on uni-corporate-admin "ethically" ramming corp brand use into our work)... w/a bit extra against anti-human tech, courtesy of my infinitely reusable beckoning Luddite block:
I also screenshotted this part to send to all my friends to make them read this and tbh (no pressure) I want like fifteen sequels
MY HEART
My colleague and I are chatting about our library Tarot project on May 18!
so what happened was, i read nine john le carré books, then i saw the pictures of the preposterous drapery SCIF at mar a lago where the iran war was being conducted, and then i thought about how many spies there must be at that place
and then i wrote a short story

Frontispiece and title page of Vox Piscis, or The Book-Fish, contayning three treatises which were found in the belly of a cod-fish in Cambridge market, on Midsummer Eve last
In 1626, a Cambridge fishwife sliced open a cod, only to find a gelatinous, half-dissolved manuscript inside. It was published the next year under the name "Vox Piscis or, the Bookfish." At this point, why not get your news from inside a dead fish? #earlymodern #bookfish archive.org/details/bim_...
Hey as of April we’ll be back to London and Frankfurt!
Let me tell you something. Y’all are asking too many damn questions at every point of sale. I have to leave a comment, make a suggestion, donate to a charity, choose a method of payment three times and then multiple choice of ways to get a receipt.
Take the damn money and leave me alone.
This is fascinating. Now I want to know if there are special categories for highlighter vs pen, or “clearly this was a hate-read” or “gave up at a really funny point”
Hi #EarlyModern Bluesky - did you know that someone brilliant has built working printing presses using Lego and they are trying to get enough supporters so that Lego will release it as a kit?
They look so cool!
