Thanks @nathanday.bsky.social!
Yes, it's that time again when it's getting closer to the exams, so these video checklists will be useful for both students and teachers! #ALevelMaths

I've started to use these more with my DNAs across my KS3, GCSE and A Level groups across Maths and Further Maths. Some of the A Level questions do make the students think so it's another very useful tool for recall and revision. Thank you @jim-hardy.bsky.social! #ALevelMaths

There's one in the International A Level paper from January 2025 (F2):

Though I do think that that series of specimen papers are very tough!

And thanks Rob for your feedback! A live lesson really is so powerful - so much so, my other colleague, who also led a workgroup but for KS3/4, has said that this would be a great idea to do it to our department during gained time!

It probably was - one of my workgroup participants came up with the idea, but didn't realise it was a resource from Susan Wall! It's a brilliant one.
And yes, A3 whiteboards are really a must for A Level! #ALevelMaths

Day 2 of the Developing #ALevelMaths pedagogy workgroup - this is where the excitement really develops. 90 minutes for the workgroup to plan a live lesson which I will then deliver to the Year 12s, with a focus on variation theory. Looking forward to this!

We normally keep them in the room and let them take home when it's close to revising for mlni tests and big assessments.
But yes, pupils are free to take their little red exercise books and they do remember!

We've gone something different over the past year or so! A little red exercise book full of examples that the students take home to revise whilst they have a big A4+ blue exercise book for practice (that's where the loose worksheets are). The students find the little red book very useful.

Brilliant to see materials that I shared for my #ALevelMaths pedagogy workgroup that I used last year being put into use for another workgroup! I hope that the participants found this really useful! @themathsbazaar.bsky.social

I believe it's what they think is the answers! Very similar to when you see these TikTok videos of a students "worked answers" for GCSE and A Level

Some of my colleagues were saying that the @ukmathstrust.bsky.social IMC 2026 paper results are all over TikTok? If so, can this be followed up?

GCSE Maths β Do Now
A friend of mine has just launched this website that I think is pretty great for generating quick starters for A-Level maths and he has started adding some questions for Further Maths too.
