When the Paris agreement was introduced ten years ago, there was no shortage of criticism. How can you come up with the idea to limit global heating to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels with an agreement relied on voluntary national pledges and lacking strict enforcement of emissions cuts?

The planned expansion of Porsche’s Nardò Technical Centre threatened the very survival of the last forest left in the Puglia region of Southern Italy. The Bosco d’Arneo, with centuries-old oaks was at risk of being logged to make space for nine new test tracks for electric vehicle testing.

“Touch Nature” at Lentos Kunstmuseum has opened last week. The 9.5-meter-long ink drawing “Property Will Cost Us the Earth” is presented in combination with “Still Standing in the Wreckage”, cardboard placards that showed up in climate action in London in 2023.
