In Kuwait, we were praying for two things: our safety, and that leadership had a real plan. Before we send Americans into harm’s way, our leaders need to get it together. This matters to the 5,000 Idahoans on active duty and their families who’ve sworn an oath to defend the Constitution.
As an Army vet who deployed to the Middle East, I’ll say this: nobody is defending Tehran. But Vietnam taught us something—you don’t bullsh*t the American people about war.
ICE needs to follow the law and operate consistently with the Constitution.
No more administrative warrants.
Sen. Mullin can make a difference by tightening the standards and operations that were ignored by his predecessor.
Again, we will be watching closely.
We will continue raising awareness and calling out failures in government wherever they appear.
A government that truly serves its people requires constant scrutiny. We’re not going anywhere, and we won’t stop pushing for leadership that earns the public’s trust.

Roughly 20% of Idaho land falls under BLM control! Once again, we see Risch isn’t serious about protecting public lands. He would rather be a part of the insider club in Washington DC than stand by and defend Idaho land.
@senatorrisch just days ago fed us lip service about the importance of protecting our public lands. Yesterday, Risch was a deciding vote to appoint “sell-off” Steve Pearce to the BLM.

Senator Jim Risch is one of the most powerful voices on foreign policy in Washington. Idaho needs him to be a check on reckless escalation—not a rubber stamp for it.
Right now, there is no credible exit plan, our partners are under attack, and “hope” is not a strategy. Meanwhile, major new commitments in the Middle East pull resources from other priorities—border security, rebuilding our industrial base, and deterring adversaries elsewhere.
We owe it to our troops—and the thousands of Idahoans serving today—to use military force only when diplomacy has been exhausted, our objectives are defined, and our leaders can explain how we get in and how we get out.
That’s why the White House must not unilaterally claim an “imminent threat” without presenting the facts to Congress and the American people. The Constitution is clear: Congress decides when we go to war.
Iran is a serious challenge, but it is not Iraq. It’s a large, capable country, and rushing into escalation without a clear mission, clear facts, and a clear end state, risks dragging America into another costly war.
As a veteran, I’ve seen what Washington too often forgets: wars have consequences for service members, families, and the taxpayers who foot the bill long after the headlines fade.

Today, joined by my incredible wife, dedicated team members, and local volunteers, we took to the Capitol steps. We turned in nearly double our required signatures to officially qualify for the ballot, along with my filing paperwork.
