the vibe-economics of biking to work are so unexpected, like bicycling seems like a dramatically more leisurely way to travel but then it isn’t actually much slower than traffic on the 101 and also the quality of time itself is SO much improved that the whole day is better and more useful?

First snow of the season I had to choose between driving along with all the first snow drivers or riding my bike. I chose bike, turned on my bike Christmas lights, played Christmas music on my Bluetooth speaker and had the most peaceful ride to work ❄️ 🚲
