It's a viscose crepe. Charmeuse would probably work as well. I loved the crepe as it is not as slippery, but it shrunk a bit after the first wash...

Finally got to photograph the finished set. Bomber is a modified #fibremoodconnor Bottom is self drafted.
Took my time with all the little details, but I love the result. Now let's just hope it fits.

I always wanted to have a pretty diary with drawings, swatches and notes.... but in reality I use an excel spreadsheet. It tracks what I buy and sew/plan to sew every year.

Coolest part is my dad got me a new board, so the entire ironing surface is new. The old one was falling apparat, but I wanted to at least save the legs from going to the dumpster. He got the new one cut to a rectangle in Mr. Bricolage and then shaped it a bit more.

First project of the year...not really what I planned to start with, but ironing has never been so satisfying 😁

As you should be :) Comfort comes first. I am also jealous of the drafting skills - it is one of the things I want to do, but keep pushing for a better time...
