They’re all just planning to split the spoils. It’s not about a vision beyond the vision of personal enrichment. Nothing much more grand than that for them sadly. They don’t care the cost to country or its citizens. It’s like they’re rolling the dice in a game of RISK.
Perhaps if the USA didn’t include so many dirt bags we would have more in common. We have a far kinder, caring, progressive, and respected country. There is nothing stopping the USA from doing similar things other than the billionaire class who don’t want that.
My grandfather, a man I knew in my lifetime fought for THIS country. I remember standing beside him during a Remembrance Day Ceremony with tears streaking down his face. Not on my watch either!

I completely agree. As a fellow Albertan it is completely clear that the UCP crowd have no concept of what libertarianism is. I posted about this on another platform and the only thing I got was a laugh emoji. Typically this means it’s over people’s heads and they’ve got nothing meaningful to say.
Truly, if Alberta separated, the USA would place them in a vice grip in short order and they would become a vassal state to the US further enriching the billionaire class with Alberta oil. This reality makes Alberta independence an impossibility. The only option is to separate to become a state.
