Izuku had never once in his life been able to deny Katsuki. Izuku looked up and met Katsuki’s gaze. He couldn’t imagine what he must have looked like at that moment. His hair was a mess, his cheeks were red and splotchy, his eyes felt swollen, and he could feel the tears and snot that smeared his face begin to crust. Some hero he was. But Katsuki looked at Izuku like he held the entire world in his scarred, knobby hands.
