Thanks to those who have checked on me regarding the fires in CA. I’m far enough away that I haven’t been affected in a major way other than the winds being wild. Watching what’s happening to some of my fellow CA peeps so close to home has been tough though. My hurt hearts 😞

Next stop: Associate Degree in Nursing! I’ll be a Fall 2026 graduate and officially a Registered Nurse once I pass the NCLEX! 👩🏻‍⚕️🥹

So I now have an Associate in Arts degree in General Education: Natural Sciences (Science, Tech & Pre-med) as well as an Associate in Science degree in Health Science, with a focus on Health and Wellness!

I’m sitting at a total GPA of 3.94, with 131 completed units (from when I was first enrolled

Now that I’m recovered from the flu I can share a school update from this past semester:

✅ Four more A’s acquired for my transcript, which finishes off all my required pre-nursing classes AND the last required class I needed for my associate degree requirements! 🥳

Happy New Year everybody! 🥳 Goodbye 2024! This year was one of the hardest ones for me yet as far as my health goes. Never been more ready to say hello to a new year 🥹 plus nursing school starts in 2 weeks!!!

AHHHH my nursing school orientation is today!!! I’m so excited 🥹🥹🥹 I get to meet my entire cohort for the next 2 years and all my instructors! I only got like 3 hours of sleep wish me luck 😅

Went down to my college today to get my ID card & peeked in at where my nursing program starts in January. Saw all the fancy equipment us official nursing students have set up for simulations like the dummies in hospital beds & it’s all hitting me. 2 years of work to get here 🥹 I can’t stop smiling
