very excited about this outcome: would CARS get to the lead in high-speed chemical imaging again? now that it is chemically quantitative... check it out and leave your thoughts!
We have multiple postdoc openings in *optical computing* 🔦+🤖, *computational microscopy* 🔬+🧠, and *nanophotonics*💡+⚛️. Don't hesitate to get in touch / spread the word!
I managed to sneak in on a “Raman over coffee“ session : how much I miss brainstorming in the lab with the crew ❤️ @comedialkb.bsky.social @lkblab.bsky.social
I sincerely hope that this year #PhotonicsWest cocktail theme is about good old rock bands … just saying… ;)
Are you excited by advanced imaging technologies and biological applications? Do terms like ‘wavefront shaping’ or ‘photoacoustics’ mean something to you? Then come join our interdisciplinary research team @embl.org for a 3 year postdoc, funded by @cziscience.bsky.social - Please get in touch!
Xmas gift came slightly earlier this year: when someone leaves your group and says that they had a positive and fulfilling experience to carry along for their next steps… it makes you feel “we made it right!” :)
circulating a job offer from a close colleague at EMBL - to work on a joint project with our team. Feel free to reach out!
🔎 Le labo recrute un-e ingénieur-e électronicien-ne. Merci de partager l'annonce dans vos réseaux !

Nope… old and standard tisaph tech. Pretty good and stable but now we need to run in a nonstandard wavelength range so it started complaining
Let me try first the French channels: there are a lot of this model in France so I’m sure someone got the RS232 codes somewhere :)
Warranty is typically 1year and since nobody buys on a yearly basis, I think there is a market still…. I mean for ultrashort lasers. The problem is how to get started because initial investment will be high :)
At this price they’re forcing a market to be created:)
Coherent Lasers charging almost 1k for a REMOTE session to diagnose a laser fault: is it only me who feel outraged? FYI: this is the first time ANY company charges us for “quick” remote service on any equipment we have
group photo !
Last week for our group retreat, we climbed up the @sorbonne-universite.fr's main tower to take a bit of perspective (litterally), and discuss how we do science, and how to do it better together, with some of our our alumni and close collaborators.
Really useful pack!
In case you don't know what to do today at 4pm, join us to hear about our latest developments in computational Raman microscopy for enabling high-speed chemical imaging.
