Let’s be clear: The GOP’s new voter suppression legislation (modeled on the SAVE Act) is unlikely to pass the Senate.

CBP has murdered another person in Minneapolis, in broad daylight, on video. This was not an accident or an isolated incident. There is no finger-pointing or spin Trump and Republicans can put on this to convince anyone otherwise. This is murder — just like we saw with Renee Nicole Good.
DO NOT WAIT. Call, email, or go in person to a local office for your Senators and tell them to REIN IN ICE. Do not vote for this DHS bills. Requiring bodycams won't stop ICE when they are already videoing themselves killing people. Require judicial warrants AT LEAST for entering homes.
The Senate will vote on the DHS funding bill next week and it can’t pass without Democratic votes.
That means Democrats have real leverage to rein in ICE, but they won’t use it unless we force them to.
