We have worked on this study since the early days of my PhD, and I am so happy to see it published!

Ein Balkendiagramm zeigt soziale Ungleichheiten beim Besuch von Kitas an. Die Befunde werden für die beiden Altersgruppe unter 3-jährige und Kinder im Alter 3-6 Jahre ausgewiesen und zeigen Ungleichheiten entlang der mütterlichen Erwerbstätigkeit, dem Bildungsabschluss der Eltern und dem Migrationshintergrund.

Gerade weil der Befund nicht neu ist, sondern in unverminderter Bedeutung weiter existiert, weist auch der #Bildungsbericht 2024 auf die sozialen Ungleichheiten in der Teilhabe an #FrüherBildung hin. Dabei zeigen sich diese Unterschiede nicht in den Bedarfen der Eltern; die sind eher gleichverteilt.

Ein Flächendigramm zeigt an, dass seit 2006 v.a. die Anzahl der 1- und 2-jährigen in Kita gestiegen sind, zugleich aber der Elternbedarf v.a. in diesen Altersgruppen noch deutlich über der Nutzung liegt.

Trotz dieses enormen Ausbaus können noch immer nicht alle Elternwünsche nach einem Platz erfüllt werden. Insbesondere bei den 1- und 2-Jährigen liegt der Elternbedarf noch deutlich über der Beteiligungsquote.

Ein Balkendiagramm zeigt die Anzahl der Kitas in 2006 (gesamt 45.300) und 2023 (gesamt 56.100), deren unterschiedliche Verteilung auf Ost- (2006: 7.200; 2023: 7.700) und Westdeutschland (2006: 35.100; 2023: 43.900) sowie die Stadtstaaten (2006: 2.900; 2023: 4.500).

Über 56.000 #Kindertageseinrichtungen gibt es mittlerweile in Deutschland. Dies sind so viele wie noch nie. Zudem besuchen etwa 900.000 Kinder mehr als noch im Jahr 2006 ein Angebot der Frühen Bildung.

Der neue #Bildungsbericht 2024 ist heute veröffentlicht worden! Darin auch viele Befunde aus #DJI-Studien, v.a. zur #FrühenBildung.
