I'm keeping a close eye on everything related to immunosenescence - I think it's a huge driver of aging and a likely bottleneck on the way to max lifespan extension. No wonder this study caught my attention:

Here's some cool research for you.

My little pet project - op-eds by prominent geroscientists - just got a big boost with a fascinating piece by Peter Fedichev, CEO of Gero. If you are a renowned expert and want to join the conversation, or if you know one, please DM me. The field needs debate! www.lifespan.io/news/playing...
I'm sure it's all merit-based.
I know what Agent Orange is, but for a second, my brain thought it was a designation for Trump.
Who said all those numbers are collecting Social Security? Those numbers can be used for tax fraud, but it's far smaller sums than what undocumented immigrants pay to Social Security without receiving benefits. Getting rid of those numbers would COST, not save money.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this sounds like direct evidence for the genocide case in ICJ - POTUS himself (with the Israeli PM by his side) saying that Gaza has been reduced to rubble and is unlivable.
Do you dispute the figures?
I see that a lot of people here are attacking the messenger. Those numbers are probably real, and CNN has a duty to report them. Stop behaving like MAGA. Our advantage should be in being able to confront the reality.
This is, hopefully, just the beginning of the op-ed project Iβve been working on. We want to give leading voices in the field a platform to share their views and spark discussion. If thatβs you, and youβve got something to say - DM me!

Well, I guess California and other Blue States should just stop sending money to the federal budget.
Removing harmful senescent cells while sparing healthy cells = improve health.
Scientists are uncovering ways to precisely target these 'zombie cells,' paving the way for safer, more effective anti-aging therapies.

This might actually backfire for him.
An obvious choice would be Canada... Oh, wait...
Everything in moderation... right?

With its current government and public opinion, Israel has to be pushed hard towards the deal. The world must step in and eliminate this power imbalance. Technically, the two-state solution is achievable, but currently, there are zero incentives for Israel to go there.
There cannot be a territorial compromise except for minor and equal exchanges. I mean, I won't mind if Palestinians AGREE to a compromise, but they don't have to. This is fundamentally an oppressor vs the oppressed situation, so there's no equality, even if the latter is sometimes wrong.
Here's another highlight from 2024. I'm not going to lie, I've received a lot of compliments for this one π

The Accords meant peace based on the current international law, which prohibits land acquisition by force (see UN SC resolution 242). This is why Egypt (and later Jordan) got ALL their land back in exchange for peace. Not sure about accountability, care to elaborate?
"Carter's flip from peace broker to contentious critic is odd, innit?" - not really. Israel pissed all over its obligation in the Framework for Peace in the Middle East agreement (part of the Camp David Accords) to solve the Palestinian problem.
Since I'm new here, posting some of my 2024 articles sounds like a good idea. Let's start with this one. Not sure how popular Bryan is on BlueSky, though π. But his views are worth considering if you ask me.

My new article is out. Apparently, human doctors suck at using AI and refuse to rely on its insights. Also, do you think medical AI will become the great equalizer in healthcare between poor and rich countries, just like cell phones were in communication? LMK your thoughts.
So, let's begin with my interview with Dr. Mehmood Khan of the Hevolution Foundation, which was published today, and see how it goes :) Longevity is cool!
