(they are nowhere near the same thing i just like tree people)
(they are nowhere near the same thing i just like tree people)
everything reminds me of them
the parasitic silverwood in WHA is terrifying and cruel but what really bothers me is the implication that everyone infected is connected like a colony, so if one person transforms, so will anyone else too close to them
it's not the same book but why would you draw attention to a random RED book flying across the screen.
don't even joke lad
obviously in the middle of an emotional high but still, this is genuinely one of the most beautiful, inspiring stories i've ever read. it made me think of my childhood and time as a baby artist so many times. i'm just so touched by the whole thing. i'm a wreck
i'm caught up
what the fuck
"there is no fanservice in this manga" qifrey is right there. i've never seen a man so obviously drawn by a woman who loves him to death. i'm gobsmacked by the most random panels
i started reading witch hat atelier
if i had a nickel for every time i latched onto a teal dragon guy with long hair i would have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
losing it at the realization that over the past couple of years i've been into two completely different games that had me like "that damn dragon is brainrotting me so badly that i want to write fanfics"
it hurts my brain π people can't handle constructive criticism at all, even when it's something VERY easy to fix... i never see this level of backlash when people give advice for visual mediums
regardless of the artistic medium, and even if it's just a hobby, it's hard to wrap my mind around people who are so adamantly against polite advice and actively pursuing improvement bc why wouldn't you want to hone your craft??
the anti-intellectualism in the current writing discourse is actually killing me. the advice was given so politely too and it's one of the most basic tips about punctuation, but people are acting like op killed their grandma. it's one of the most bizarre things i've ever seen
bandai genuinely baited me by using the elden ring font i'm not gonna lie
seridia's one-sided beef with caldarus is genuinely the funniest thing ever. she'll tell me how much she wants to send him to super hell and then i'll go talk to him and he'll say something like "really interested in socks lately. sadly, i cannot wear them"
i do find it very funny that this game gets criticized (often rightfully) for being a waifu harem and then the character that has an absurd amount of genuine chemistry with rover ended up being a man
3.1 has been legitimately outstanding... how will they top this...
i was so wrong for this
π₯Ί
i couldn't figure out why my friends randomly lost their shit mid call until one of them sent a screenshot
"join the fandom"
it's so much worse bc of how many aspects about it are exceptional, it's not even just about the blorbos this time π
i wish i had someone to talk to about e33 w/o spoiling it. im going to explode
WAIT /THAT/ TRACK WAS PART OF RENOIR'S THEME THIS ENTIRE TIME ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? HOLY SHIT THAT'S BRILLIANT
im fuckin crying i clicked on a track from e33 and got an ad that suggested i talk to my doctor if i'm experiencing symptoms of depression
some of it ties into the wider issue of people being unable to separate their own logic, emotions, and morals from context of a story. e33 is a great example. you can't have a narrative where the characters are traumatized and deeply flawed and expect them to make choices the same way we do
i love games where there is no perfect ending... except for the part where you end up with thousands of people online arguing over which one is better morally and/or logically, when that isn't really the point
turns out i predicted exactly what would happen with me and e33 (play for a few hours, drop it for a few weeks bc of adhd, pick it back up on a random day, and get utterly consumed by it)
twitter is literally just complete slop now. every single post is either obviously stolen or reads like βyouβre not gonna like the answerβ¦ itβs about the objectification of the romanticization of the homogenization of the emancipation proclamationβ¦ but yβall arenβt ready for that conversationβ
playing wuwa 3.1 and this back to back is like dropping my emotions in a vat of acid but i also feel like i've hit an absolute goldmine in terms of writing, music, art direction, and gameplay (dualliste got me fucked up but GOD this game is so much fun)
