- Sonic is still in his stupor in the shower. His gaze remains an unfocused downward direction. The water has gotten the blood off of him

- Beside Sonic is Shadow, who is also getting washed off and has been staring at Sonic with a disturbed (but serious) look on his face the whole time.

- Shadow’s eyes now switch their attention to something behind both himself and Sonic.

- Wide shot of Sonic and Shadow in the prison showers completely surrounded by countless G.U.N. soldiers, all pointing guns at them and keeping very close watch on the two hedgehogs. Shadow stares directly at them while Sonic remains semi-conscious and keeps his head down. They remain fully clothed and in cuffs.

SONIC: … Deta shor… - Same shot, but now Sonic’s eyes are more open and alert. SONIC: Mm’Huh? - Sonic quickly sits up looking very confused. Ivan is gone. SONIC: Huh?! SONIC: Where… SONIC: … Where am I? How’d I end up here? - We’re looking down on Sonic and he is fully and clearly alone in the jungle. SONIC: … Oh man. SONIC: I better get back to New Mobotropolis mega fast. - Sonic is now standing up. There is no panel border. He stands alone in the white void of comic gutter space with maybe a bit of grass underneath him as he speaks damning words.
