We had a little knock off one in Chatham called Present Times which was less history and more gothy. One of my teenage boyfriends would get me gifts from there until he completely lost his head and gave me an ACTUAL bone for my 16th birthday. No pun intended, apparently.

Funny how the death of the high street really kicked in after Past Times closed.

Up for work in six hours, I wonder for how many of them I’ll lie awake, staring at my baby and thinking about the end of the world.

Went to a baby britpop disco this morning and it was great. Here we are just before we went in when within about 5 minutes Ben and I both knocked our pints over and Edie had to get about in her vest.

And so it begins.

Today has had such bank holiday vibes and as someone who is without their baby for the first time in forever and has to be up for work at 5 tomorrow, may not be the best thing.

Watched Little Miss Sunshine for the first time in years and can confirm the end is still absolutely joyous.

Had a wonderful night seeing Sugababes with two of my best girls. Went out in the NQ to wait for surge pricing to go down and had a really deep and important conversation on society’s view of women’s ageing only to be told by a group on lads in their early 20s they thought we were late 20s. Nice.
