Finally finished the #ttrpg adventure revamp for the core book & have started revising the intro based on editor redlines. Once that's done, I need to put together character creation packets to playtest the updated adventure.

#ttrpg adventure writing tip: It's impossible to account for everything players could do during a game. Instead, focus on the adventure's main milestones, summarize what failure looks like, & provide enough NPC descriptions that help the GM formulate how to handle the unexpected on their own.
I was a cowriter for the Virtual Adepts source book of White Wolf's old M:tA. In it, I used the construction of a baseball to describe how information works. I had never seen sports metaphors in ttrpgs before, so I was quite proud to get that in. 😁

Our latest IG post is now available! This week we cover Bit Flips: metacurrency you gain whenever you roll 2+ 1s in a test. You can earn up to 3 Bit Flips per session and spend them to grant yourself or others +2 successes on a future test.

Thanks to illness last weekend, I've fallen behind on the adventure rewrite based on editor feedback. We'll be taking advantage of the company holiday Monday to catch up this weekend. 🤞
Every time they cast, they degrade, which in turn causes glitches and bugs that deteriorate their stats.
The issue is they have to cast to fulfill jobs that pay to help get rid of glitches and bugs.

The more "magic" you cast in virtual reality, the more glitches & bugs you accumulate, which translates mechanically to lost stats. You can buy them off w/ XP, but there's a limit to what you earn, so cast too much & your PC can become unplayable.
#ttrpg title tip: When coming up w/ titles, come up w/ possible social media shorthands players could use to refer to it by to avoid any unfortunate connections you don't want to create.
Even if you think it's safe, perform online searches anyway, just in case...😶

It's possible whatever suite you're using now has the same function.
I always have spaces on either side, but that's because MS Word has an automatic feature. When you type <word> <space> <hyphen> <space> <word> <space>, the hyphen auto-converts to the em-dash.

Just found out Amazon is scrubbing data on Shopify & presenting it all on their website as if you can order through them. They copy all the order data while the sale goes to the vendor. No regard for inventory levels.
My wife's candle company got hit by it & it's been going on for 3 days now. 😡
Just commissioned 10 more art pieces for our ttrpg. This second wave will highlight the varied locations an E-Scape game can be set in and some of the magical Effects that can be cast.
Really pleased with how the 1st wave went, so going in for more!

#ttrpg dev tip: Players like to feel unique, so when designing anything special like feats, spells, etc. that are meant to set PCs apart from another, put yourself in a player's place & double-check that you're not dressing the same ability under different names. If you do, drop one & make another!
