They have also pushed out ads (that I won’t post here) that use cosplay pics that are either generated or modified by AI.

What exactly does a company making tights in a billion different colours need AI for? They can't type a "hey here are our new products" newsletter? Exhausting.

Oh this is disgusting... Thanks for using cosplayers for free labor just to shove their work into and AI generator... like what the absolute fuck??????

This kind of thing is so… baffling to me. It’s an algorithmic problem with Reddit but it’s also just frustrating that cosplay is seen as inherently sexual or a pipeline to pornography, AND held to a double standard that illustrated fanart isn’t.

You‘re not a better person or a bigger fan or whatever just because you don‘t draw/look at/enjoy nsfw. It‘s fine to not like it but the moral high ground some people put themselves on over this and looking down on people who enjoy nsfw calling them „degenerated“ etc. is just dumb as hell.

With the current censorship situation & the rise of puritanism I just want to say that one thing that‘s been really annoying me for years now is the growing number of people who act like you can‘t appreciate a character and their lore as much as „pure fans“ just because you draw nsfw of them.
