Retired, loving getting out and about with my wife, and being a grandparent. Man City bandwagon jumper. Green Party member, hoping for a better world to leave our kids and grandkids. Music tastes very eclectic, but RUSH are still the greatest ever band.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Puma are supporting Genocide in Gaza. They have become the kit suppliers for Maccabi Tel Aviv. I would suggest at any event involving Puma a Palestinian flag be shown.

Belgian Nigel doesn't really love #Gonads in the way she loved her BJ.
I mean, could that two person huddle be more awkward. But there's no doubt she'd give some of that BJ lovin' to Nigel the traitor if she gets parachuted into some poor constituency. Hands up, who wants #GoNads as their MP?

Watching #MOTD, and I do wonder how the officials can be that incompetent. Thank god these idiots aren't in jobs where lives depend upon them.
It's good to see Spuds doing what they always do after beating @ManCity, they truly are a comedy club.

We Didn't deal with Spurs high pressure at all. Trafford's distribution doesn't have Erderson's distribution, but few do. We really needed to go long more often to push Spurs back. Pep made too many changes to the starting line up too, he should have stuck with the team from the previous week.

I never said that, I'm on about their return to the UK, maybe I didnt make it clear enough. But I dont believe anyone wants to see vigilantes taking to the streets of the UK, do they? But they should face any UK citizen who has served during the genocide should face terrorism charges.

Perhaps the BBC should live stream the genocide with Right Said Fred providing the accompanying music. That should keep the Zionazis, and REFUK voters happy.

Spot on, to say I hate this bitch and everything she stood for, is an understatement. The destructive effects of her policies are still being felt now, and the UK may never recover.

I've just finished Made In Manchester, and I really enjoyed it. As a proud Mancunian, I love that it has not only increased my knowledge of our great city but has also given me pointers of where to expand it further.
Northerners is on my bookshelf, and I'm looking forward to reading that next.

🚨BREAKING: Senator Chris Murphy after a private intelligence briefing on the Iran attacks:

β€œIt still appears that we have only set back the Iranian program by a handful of months. I just do not think the President was telling the truth when he said this program was obliterated.”

It was just lies.

This is oligarchy. This is obscene.

While 60% live paycheck to paycheck & kids go hungry, Jeff Bezos, worth $230 billion, goes to Venice on his $500 million yacht for a $20 million wedding & spends $5 million on a ring while his real tax rate is just 1.1%.

End this oligarchy.

Not the most important part of this story, but the fact this Vance meme is currently circulating the globe at light speed is a moment of quiet joy.

Powerful rally tonight outside the US embassy with @cnduk.bsky.social & @stopthewar.bsky.social

I and many other speakers - condemning horrendous & illegal actions of US Government.

And to have Prime Minister giving coded support should disgust us all.

All whilst Israel's genocide rages on.

BBC bias against Palestinians proved again and again and again This is a report by someone who was present at the meeting at the House of Commons earlier this week…

β€œWe need to build consensus in favour of radical reform… this needs to start with the teaching of media literacy & modern history in our schools”

…I think we need to go further and remove the wealthy Zionists who dominate the board/management of BBC

Agricultural pollution is the main source of pollution in the UKβ€”so why does the govt continually omit references to it when discussing pollution?

If we’re going to get serious about protecting our waterways, we need to invest in river-friendly farming,Β urgently.

They have got Kneecap's Mo Chara in court for waving a flag in 3 weeks.

But it has been 5 years and Michelle Mone is still wandering about scot-free, while the people who murdered 72 at Grenfell are laughing after 8 years knowing they will never face justice.

With the current size of the squad, it won't be an issue. I know it'll be trimmed from the current 36 players, 6 on loan, the rest depends on sales, but there will still be plenty of scope for rotation.

Pep Guardiola has decided who will be Manchester City's captain. Pep Guardiola has decided who will be Manchester City's captain for next season. Bernardo Silva is Manchester City's captain as they embark on a new era.

Bernardo Silva has been chosen by Pep Guardiola to be Manchester City's captain for the 25/26 season.

For me, he's the ideal choice given that time and time again Bernardo has always put the team before his own game.

Privatisation has worked so well in all the former publicly owned institutions, hasn't it?
How about the new private co, gets government money, spends that on bonuses and dividends, takes out loans to do minimum repairs, and then repeats the cycle. Surely, that's a great plan unless it goes bust.
