Many thanks to all who replied. I had a reply from support saying that this is a known bug, and they're working on it. I can now see the posts, so either I got lucky or perhaps they fixed my account as a favour.

Good plan. I was asked to go through the process seven months ago, but I didn't and everything's worked until now (I'm in the UK). What baffles me is why being under 18 would bar you from seeing your OWN images anyway...!
