When the base courses are made from <<English>> - <<X language>> . So when you want to learn from <<other language different to English>> - <<X language it doesn't make sense>>. Example: Bussu Spanish - Portuguese makes 0 sense.
One lesson is "casa" means "casa". Or things like that.

In Quechua you add -mii at the end of some info that you know for sure. For example your name you say:
Nuqa Martinmii hutii
Because you know for sure your name is Martin :0

In Spanish LATAM we say "bombril".
It's a brand of metal sponges that are very very durable hahaha so when a kid stays at home for too long it is like the "bombril" of the house.

+ I recommend it if you want to dabble in the language and are just curious in Italian. It is very fun, entertaining and with the classroom environment you don't feel alone. I'll continue using it in the future I guess 😁
+ it's for basic Italian, but she also gives some insights in culture and of course Italian gastronomy. In the course they also cooked an Italian meal while learning, I just watched them cook and eat hahaha but it's interesting nonetheless. 💗💗
The course is very well planned and the teacher is amazing, is very energetic, nice and it's good at keeping you engaged even when it's a recording. +
Today I tried this course from the MIT called "Speak Italian with your mouth full". These are recordings of the class/seminar the gave in 2012 for a class of 12 students from physics, maths or other similar majors. + 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

I watched a grammar video, used online Italian club for exercises, got chatgpt to explain to me some grammar about the exercise and watched a video about the exercise vocab.
This mix of varios resources keeps me engaged and motivated ✅🇮🇹✅

I have heard about it before but I didn't see how it could benefit me. But now I am taking a course where I have to think and learn and reflect about new things for me and I am seeing the appeal.
"Duolingo is still great for beginners" bruh it's addictive while being ineffective, that's the worst combination.
It's getting you started with being addicted to Duolingo and *not* learning a language on your own terms and at your own pace. (A pace that *needs* to be faster than Duo's)
The big mistake was letting them get away with calling it artificial intelligence in the first place
On-line classes, lectures, tours, museums. books of many genres, learning a language started as U of I freshman, planning my own travel, filling in my knowledge of history….& more. It’s my “Season of Susan: Life-long Learner’s Self-Directed & Self-Awarded #PHD!👍
Teachers want:
- Consistent whole-school frameworks that provide guidance while allowing for teacher autonomy
- Time and resources to differentiate effectively, especially for students learning English as an additional language or those requiring extension
