I honestly love it and I'm so over making excuses

Everyone is playing Starfield but I have only just installed No Man's Sky for the first time

I do my best to advocate for accessibility but I'm embarrassed to say I'm, well... Embarrassed to talk about one of my own biggest accessibility issues.

It's fairly niche and I worry that people won't take me seriously. But I probably need to have more faith in A11Y folks 😅

AAA devs, I can't say it enough, Accessibility is vital to the community. This is as important as anything in your game. If a player can't play due to a blocker then all that work is locked out to them. This is worse than your worst bug. Plan accessibility now, period, before it's too late.

If gamers want more games like BG3 and TotK, here's the deal; developers need the stability of staying at a studio long-term. And right now, least in the U.S., that is not typically how the ecosystem works.

The first one looks like poutine, but I have to know what's the deal with the second image. Is it sweet toast? It looks amazing.

I think this happens with a lot of creative fields and it's the worst when you're not given any reasoning for it 😔

Ooh I dunno, I work in edu-games right now but our target audience is always adults. I wonder if it feels more worthwhile working on stuff for younger audiences?
