walking along this building in high contrast light with my half frame camera and a roll of fomapan. It developed very low contrast but it was amazing how much detail was on the negative that I could pull out in post process. the black line is likely a crack in the film. it was -20ºC...
post process on LR. scans from Epson V550. Kodak Gold 200 on the Fujifilm DL-270.
If Ansel Adams says post process is part of photography then I'm all in.

(I financed a new computer - sigh) Photo dump from a roll of kodak gold 400 and the flicfilm double shot... apparently I was feeling very citrus-y...
Nothing shines a light on tech-reliance than a sudden and complete computer failure. Sitting twiddling your thumbs without access to photography is strange. How did we do this pre-1990s? Probably just took walks and talked to other human beings. I was healthier when my peak tech was a discman.
Also - a bit outdated (can you say that about 2019?) but incredible read. deleted all my phone apps. went on a photowalk with new photographers in the city instead.

For reference the camera and film are from an #alberta retailer called flic film - the developer is a local artist run business called Neat Film Labs here in #calgary
Last summer I gave my 10 year old son a plastic half frame camera and he proceeded to drop it in a river on a hike. After my initial over reaction I brought the water damaged film to a local developer here in #calgary and received these!
