Two free places on a first come, first serve basis.
We will use discussion , published poems, prose and images to inform new work with plenty of time away from the screen to write and time to share work.
This is a longer workshop lasting 5 hours with an hour for lunch.
We'll look at how we see ourselves and how the world sees us. What are the expectations on us at different times of our life and what happens if we don't fulfill those expectations.
CHANGING LIVES ONLINE WORKSHOP
This is a poetry workshop that will look at three ages of a woman's life: Girlhood, Childbearing (including those who are childless) and 'Cronehood'.
My last collection is off for a reprint with my new name. The poems include some that are about and in the voice of Anne Boleyn

Sorry, I should have made it clear. My PhD is about the links and parallels between 21,st and 16th century women. So this project is about women's experience.
In the first instance, please either show your interest below, or email at gillconnorsresearch@gmail.com
passes it on to the next, they respond to something in that first poem and write their own, then they pass it on, and so on. The result will be a poetic conversation. I'd like to publish it as part of my PhD so would be looking at next year.
For a project as part of my PhD I want to publish an anthology which will be a physical manifestation of my metaphorical 'paper dolls'. What I'm imagining, is that I get a group of you willing and wanting to be part of it, then, like a chain, one person writes a poem,
