Such a good movie. Now that you’ve put it in my brain, I’m gonna have to dig out the DVD and watch it again, so thanks!
For context, this needs another chart with spending in restaurants/bars by income. Yeah, folks in lower income brackets order more takeout, but folks in the higher brackets are probably spending more to eat out, and spending as much for drinks after work as a family of 4-5 spends on an entire meal.
It's okay, now I know that sitcoms still exist. I thought network tv was all csi, law and order, a bunch of singing competitions, and reality stuff.
To be fair, pitchers spend a lot of time throwing balls not straight.
But, yeah, it's funny.
For those who celebrate, a reminder that Monday, March 23rd is the 5th anniversary of the Evergiven.

BJs making up for not raising the price for 2 days by raising it 10 cents today, to $3.37
For reference and to save you scrolling back, we started at $2.68 eleven days ago, before prices started moving. That’s a 69 cent increase, so far.
Thanks for mentioning this, it sounds great! I’ve moved it to the top of my podcast queue 😀
My cable company throws a ‘are you enjoying Spectrum?’ star rating screen up on my tv every once in a while and I always reply with one star.
I reply to the phone support ones because of this, but I’m not at all interested in sharing my ‘experience’ of paying my credit card bill.
*tosses ‘throughout’ onto the fire*
Gas has held steady at BJs at $3.27 for 2 days.
Heating oil that was $4.40 four days ago shot up to $4.80, then was $5 last night. Tonight it’s back down to $4.60. Given that heating oil is a 100 gallon minimum order, that’s a $40 drop in minimum order cost in one day. Ouch.
Yes, made by me 😊
Took Thru and Fri off, planned on having a long and productive weekend.
So far I’ve managed to do a few small things and read 3 books.
Not quite what I had intended 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I have a clock on the kitchen wall that’s such a pain to change that, for 8 months of the year, I just do the math.
I felt like he missed on a few key scenes, like why Ilya laughed about Shane hiring a stylist. But maybe I just saw it wrong on the show 🤷♀️ Reading the book after watching was still great, maybe better (for me, anyway) because I could visualize everything - that’s not always easy for me to do.
Sorry for the delayed response.
I like adaptations that stay true to the story, and Tierney did that. He picked most of the story up off page and put it on film, brought it to life for me. Minor plots/characters were modified, which is a reasonable thing to do.
Two fresh copper pressings - orchid and peacock.
I’m thinking hair forks. Maybe ring dishes, too.
😍
$3.15 tonight.
Two handmade copper pieces covered in raised impressions of coffee beans. The top piece is an oval ring dish with a raised lip edge, the bottom piece is a wide cuff bracelet. The background is tan, with a row of roasted coffee beans on one side.
These coffee bean pieces are quite popular. Who loves coffee? ☕ ❤️
I live there and have the same mute set.
Oh, hon, so sorry. I’m sending you a big hug.
$3.05 this afternoon.
I’d strongly consider buying the tour bus if it came with a Canadian passport.
It sounds like something he hallucinated after watching a Marvel movie
I’d suggest moving to Maine, where BJs and Costco are still just under 3 bucks, but you probably can’t afford to drive here.

Good for you!! Get all the studio time you possibly can. It’s how we survive.
After watching Heated Rivalry a questionable number of times, I finally started reading the books, and Jacob Tierney stays so true to the story that I really want him to make One Last Stop, because I think only he could avoid the disaster that was the movie version of Red White and Royal Blue.
If I’d known how much it would matter later in life I would have made more of an effort during the two years of junior high when they failed spectacularly at trying to teach me French.
