so it's going as anticipated

so far at the #worldfantasy convention I have:
-spilled my coffee in the front row of a session
-fallen down the stairs
-mistaken someone for themself, apologized, and forgot to tell them my name
-been caught talking to myself
-faceplaneted at the foot of the escalator

Except if the 8th graders were nice instead of being 13 :)

attending #wfc2023 as an aspiring #author reminds me of the time in 4th grade when I slept through my lunch period and had to eat with the 8th graders
