You might be seeing more of these signs around STL. They indicate where pedestrians or cyclists have been struck by cars.
Here is Delmar and Kingshighway, it’s not hard to imagine being hit by a car here. Intersecting bus routes + terrible pedestrian infrastructure

They are having a fire sale of all of their inventory. If you are nearby go now. Still plenty of good stuff but it’s going fast.

Crazy that while this is happening, this stretch still has so many mothballed storefronts. Especially considering the premium rent they could command with minimal investment
