Small metal enamelled lapel badge. It's from probably 1980s Soviet Union. There is a pale blue globe and it's partly surrounded by a branch of a bay tree with the Russian word for peace on each leaf.
Found this soviet era pin badge in a charity shop. I asked a friend from the Soviet Union, and familiar with Russian language. The symbolism represents world peace. The bay tree is a symbol of peace and the Russian word for peace is on each leaf. World Peace was an important concept to the Soviets.
